Snake and Ladder

Snakes and Ladders is a timeless Indian board game that has earned recognition worldwide as a classic. Typically played by two or more participants, the game utilizes a square grid on a gameboard marked with numbered spaces. The board features various “ladders” and “snakes” illustrated between specific squares—ladders aid players by allowing them to climb closer to the end, while snakes hinder progress by sending them backward. The main goal is to move your game piece from the starting point at the bottom of the board to the final square at the top, guided by the roll of dice. As players take turns, their positions are determined by the number on the die, with ladders helping them ascend and snakes potentially causing setbacks. To play, simply press the “space” bar on your keyboard or tap/click the “roll” button to roll the dice and advance your piece accordingly.
